Hi.

I have a PS3 Eye and i'm using the FreeTrack 2.2.0.279 with the Freetrack2.2.0.279CLeyePatch and when i start the capture the image is always very very red in any small ilumination zone.

Image to ilustrate the problem.

The capture in the CL-Eye Test looks fine.

I tried with a Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000 and it has the exact same problem.

Thanks in adacance.

What filter solution do you use?
You need a daylight-filter to eliminate daylight and just track the ir-Leds.

On the ps3 eye, i removed the IR filter and put a negative film. The part that intrigues me is that with or without the negative developt film the image looks exactly the same. Maybe i need to mess with the Threshold and the grain ans exposure to make ir right.

Just to be clear and if i'm not mistaken, the capture image on Freetack should be like that, reddish, right?

Yes of course if you got some margin on this settings try out all combinations first.

If this do not make the trick go for a better daylight filter, (or one layer more for ex.).

...the capture window has to be black! and the ir-dots red like this:
