Hi

I have troubles to get freetrack working, I have made a new install and after that it works for a little wile.
Before that there was another problem, I had freetrack working but when I start a game I get the desktop, every time after a few seconds.
After that I starting up freetrack it disables my webcam settings, after that I renew my webcam settings and start freetrack.
When I'am start the webcam, freetrack stops running, I have try anything but still freetrack stops over again and over again.

Could it be that I use a Windows 7 64 bit or is there another solution to solved this problems.

Sorry for my bad Englisch.

Kind regards Leen

hi Leen,
did you install freetrack in xp-mode and with admin rights?
What webcam are you using?

Hi,
like Stormrider said...install and run Freetrack with admin rights. It works well on Win 7 and 8 64 bit.

Hi

First of all I have uninstall freetrack with REVO unistaller, after that I have try to chance the mode to xp, but it is lockt on vista.
Afther that I have install freetrack with adm rights, freetrack starts up but when I start the cam, freetrack stops running again.

The question is how to change the vista mode in xp, I have try to make windows do that and win does do it, but it make no difference when I start the cam, freetrack stops running.

The cam I use is a Logitech C270, wich was working at the first time for a little wile, till freetrack stops running and afther that freetrack stops running over and over again.

Update;

I have manage freetrack running on xp and adm right with UAC settings out, I install freetrack in program files and not in program files (x86).
I did it on purpose, because that was the trick that CoD 2 will running on Win 7 64 bit, so I give it a try but no it won't work eather.
This seems to be the trick, I had freetrack running and working in ETS2 but after a few minutes freetrack stops running.
The same problem is back, I can start freetrack and when I 'am start the cam freetrack stops running.

Yes, I use it at this moment but facetracknoir is a heavy load for the cpu (AMD Athlon dual core).
Freetrack is much weighter to work with, but still facetracknoir works awesome but the cpu ussage and the cpu ussage of ETS 2 is on the edge of my cpu, I you know what If mean.

I did use faceAPI before but this plugin is most responsible for the heavy cpu load, now I use pointTracker and a 3 point ir led cap.
This takes less from the cpu but still freetrack seems takes less of the cpu than facetracknoir with pointtracker, I gues but not sure about it.
But before I could check that, freetrack began with those troubles, maybe you know about this.
If freetrack use at much as freetracknoir I will stop searching for solutions to get freetrack work, it's not usefull but still I don't know yet.

With help from Stormrider Freetracks runs smooth and takes less of the cpu.
I has uninstall ppjoy and freetrack with revo unistaller, after that I set windows in the safe mode and install ppjoy.
I give the joystick key functions and after that I install the old version of freetrack.
Now I don't have errors anymore and it work just fine, my fps stays around 50 fps, so I'am happy with it.

Thanks a lot Stormrider

Kind regards Leen
